About
I am Edoardo Guido, a design engineer based in Lisbon, Portugal. I help teams turn ambiguous product ideas into shipped software — from early prototypes through design systems and production interfaces that feel obvious to use.
Most recently I was a Senior Product Designer at Carbon Direct, where I led design for a net-new carbon procurement product and helped grow that offering from zero to $1M MRR. Before that I founded and scaled a cross-platform design system at MetaMap that nearly halved feature release time, and I led freelance product design for Huddle’s invite-only builder network. I also co-founded CAPSLOCK Magazine, an editorial platform exploring creative arts and technology.
My practice sits at the boundary of design and engineering: I set experience direction, prototype in code, and care about the details people rarely notice consciously — motion, component systems, and interaction polish. If you need someone who can both define the product experience and implement the hard interface work, that is the collaboration I take on.
